Hey all!
This was another fast week here in California and a great one!
Recently we have been working good with our ward mission leader and trying to minister to those in need of help in our ward, it has been working pretty good and has helped some to feel welcomed to come back to activities and church events.
On Wednesday we had zone conference and it was very good. We talked about working with members and how it says in Preach my Gospel that working with members is the most effective way of doing missionary work, when members help to find people and the missionaries teach the members' friends. Our mission will no longer be street contacting or tracting for some time. We recently had the missionary department come and observe our mission and this is an adjustment they had us make. It will be a good chance to explore different ways of teaching others.
On Saturday we went on splits with a priest from another ward and it was awesome. We took Steven to a baptism for an awesome lady and he really enjoyed it. There was someone that came up to him at the baptism and said, "are you feeling peaceful since you've been at the baptism?" And he said "yes" Then the brother said, "I know every time we feel peace it is God telling us that where we are is where we're supposed to be and that we should do that which we feel is peaceful." It was so awesome and Steven is ready to be baptized soon!
Yesterday we had Steven, Liza and Beth all come to church .It was awesome and they all loved it! We have such an awesome ward because they welcomed all of our friends so nice.
All is going good and I hope that you all have a great day and week!
Love,
Elder Toller
