Hey all!
This was a great week! And awesome weekend with general conference!
Well this weekend I felt like the main message was to strive to feel more Joy in your life - The most important feeling to feel and what God wants us to feel.
2 Nephi 2:22-25
22 And now, behold, if Adam had not transgressed he would not have fallen, but he would have remained in the garden of Eden. And all things which were created must have remained in the same state in which they were after they were created; and they must have remained forever, and had no end.
23 And they would have had no children; wherefore they would have remained in a state of innocence, having no joy, for they knew no misery; doing no good, for they knew no sin.
24 But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things.
25 Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.
I also liked the talk by Sister Cristina B. Franco. I liked how she talked about member missionary work. She mentioned how people try to ask others what they know about the church to start a conversation. And trying to talk in natural ways with those around us and sharing parts of our testimony with them. Elder Uchdorf later mentioned that we should not be shy about our religion. Be bold and strong because the gospel of Jesus Christ is the gospel of lasting Joy!
Yesterday evening we had Ernie's baptism and it was so awesome! He invited his family who weren't members and they really enjoyed it. Then Ernie asked if he could bear his testimony at the baptism and it was so neat! He invited everyone to come closer to Christ and join His church and invited them all to his confirmation next Sunday! So awesome! I love baptisms and there is always a very special spirit there.
At the baptism me and my companion shared the video called Lift. Here is the link for the video:

It talks about the importance of serving those around us. We invited everyone to pray for opportunities to serve others throughout our daily lives and He will place opportunities in our path. God loves all His children and wants us to help spread His love with those around us daily. Then as we do that we are living the second great commandment to love our neighbors as president Nelson talked about!
All is going great here in Southern California! Have an awesome day and week!
Love you all!
