Week #62

Hey all! This was a great week! We have been working combining the English and Samoan areas together. It's working good and keeping us busy! 

We met with Ernie this week and he brought his mom who isn't a member to the lesson and it went really great! She is starting to show interest in the gospel!

Week #61

Hey all! This was a great week! 

D&C 35:8 For I am God, and mine arm is not shortened; and I will show miracles, signs, and wonders, unto all those who believe on my name. 

God continues  to show forth his hand daily. Strive to pray often to recognize his hand in your daily life as you put forth your faith in him. 

Saturday we got transfer calls. I'm now covering the English ward I'm in now and also the Samoan ward. It will be great! I got a Samoan companion. My last companion is headed back home to Idaho Falls.

Yesterday we were at the church watching the young adult devotional and afterwards there was a baptism so we decided to invite Ernie to come see one since he hadn't seen one before. He really enjoyed it and the Spirit was strong. 

All is going well and I'm doing great! Have a great day! Love you all!

Week #60

Hey all! It's been a great week! This week we have been keeping busy! 

We had zone conference this week and that went really good! We talked

a lot about the importance of love. We know God is our loving Heavenly

Father and we need to always show that love with all of those people

around us. 

We also taught Ernie again this week and brought one of our members named

brother Ali. He is a convert and has an awesome testimony. We talked about the

commandments and the blessing that come from following them. We shared a

neat video called blessed and happy are those who keep the commandments

of God. It is awesome and would recommend everyone to watch it.

Yesterday I talked in sacrament meeting with my companion and I talked

about missionary work and praying for opportunities to share the gospel

and our testimony with those around us. 

I love the scriptures Alma 37:37- 

Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea,

when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over

you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of

thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day

And also Jacob 4:10 

Wherefore, brethren, seek not to counsel the Lord, but to take counsel from his

hand. For behold, ye yourselves know that he counseleth in wisdom, and in

justice, and in great mercy, over all his works.

As we counsel with the Lord he will give us the best counsel ever because he

knows the best that we can be!
