Hey all! Well these past 3 weeks have been super busy and fast!
We had zone conference 2 weeks ago and that was really good! Our mission president talked a lot about the atonement and the importance of forgiving others. He said as we use the atonement our desire will burn within us to share it.
Also he talked about a quote from a short video called a Man's Search for Happiness which says:
God has given man 2 great gifts, the gift of time and the gift to choose what to do with time.
I really like that quote a lot. We are all blessed with time here on earth and it really is valuable. This quote made me want to make every minute count. Since I'm a missionary time really goes fast and I can't believe I'm almost at a year!
We had stake conference recently and our mission president spoke and as usual gave an amazing talk. He talked about how when we were in the premortal world God gave us certain things to help us survive spiritually, mainly C P R. Church, prayer, read. Just like CPR is used to help people breathe again, by spiritually using CPR we are able to continue on the covenant path back home!
Also at stake conference the stake president spoke about how the youth had a goal to find 2019 names for the temple and they have found about 3700 names. He talked about how God is still a God of miracles and missionary work is going on on the other side of the veil. That was super neat to hear. He also made a really great invitation to have everyone in the stake refer 1 person to the missionaries. That is a great invitation and would invite you all to try that invitation and pray for help and He will answer your prayer.
The other day we visited with a lady and we invited her to say the prayer in the lesson and it was her 1st time and it was such an awesome prayer. When people pray for the first time the spirit is always so strong as they find that connection with Heavenly Father.
Everything is going great! Have a wonderful last week of June! Hope everyone is enjoying summer! It's nice and hot here! Love you all! You all ROCK!
