Elder Toller Week #92 :Last email!

Hey all!
Wow what a week! It's been pretty busy which is good. And we had some great lessons this week!
So on Sunday we had a service over zoom with other wards and we were able to have lots of the people we are teaching attend which was great! Kyle and her son watched and they also invited her mom to watch the service too so that was great!

John 14:27
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
I love this scripture and it truly is true that Christ is truly the source of peace especially in these times of sickness.

We had a devotional with Sister Cordon the other day over zoom and it was great! She talked a lot about the resurrection and the timeline of the crucifixion to the resurrection. She also shared this scripture 1 Nephi 9:6.

But the Lord knoweth all things from the beginning; wherefore, he prepareth a way to accomplish all his works among the children of men; for behold, he hath all power unto the fulfilling of all his words. And thus it is. Amen
She said that the Lord knew about these circumstances that we would have to go through at this time but it is okay because God is in control and His gospel will continue to go forth.

Hope everyone has an amazing day and an amazing week! Love you all! This is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and we are lead by a prophet of God today. I know Joseph Smith was called of God to be a prophet and bring the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ back to the earth. The Book of Mormon is truly the word of God and can brighten our day as we study it daily. Jesus is the Christ and lives today and is always cheering us on to do what is right.
Thanks to everyone for being such great family and friends!

Also if you haven't heard yet, I am coming home tomorrow, Tuesday. See you all soon!

Week #91

Hello everyone!
Well this has been another good week here in the mission field.
General conference was sure great! I always feel spiritually uplifted after general conference. It truly is a blessing to have it. And we can review the talks from it too all because of technology which is super helpful.
I really like President Eyrings talk about praying with faith. And also he mentioned praying to see what role we can have in the ongoing restoration individually.

It was good to have a good amount of the people we are teaching be able to watch general conference this weekend since everyone had time and was home with the coronavirus. Maybe Heavenly Father kind of stopped the world at this time to have all his children watch the prophet and 12 apostles speak messages needed for today's people on the earth.

The proclamation they presented at conference will truly be a wonderful tool for missionary work and help our friends we teach learn more about prophets and apostles and the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Have a wonderful week and good day! Love you all!
