We are still visiting with Brian and this guy named Tony. Brian is doing well and progressing well. He has an awesome desire to come closer to Christ and is super prepared for the gospel.
Tony is pretty cool. We found him by getting a refferal from other missionaries. We had an awesome plan of salvation lesson with him the other day and he loved it. It's super neat how the plan of salvation helps so many people who lose loved ones and the hope and peace it can bring into their life.
The other day we saw someone out waxing their new jeep truck and they let us sit in it and get a picture. He said he has had it for 4 days. It's pretty nice!
We had a lesson the other day with members about serving others and it was awesome! The member said that when someone serves her kids she feels super appreciative and thankful to that person who served her kids and likened it to how Heavenly Father feels the same as we serve those around him!
Mosiah 2:17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.
Truly service helps you to feel better about yourself and feel love for others.
Yesterday we had Brian and a part member family at church. We also had this lady and her kids come to church for the 1st time in 3 years. It was so great they came, we had been trying for a while to meet with them and we met with them on Friday and then they committed to come to church. It was totally a miracle! It was great to see them there. The members all welcomed them and invited them to our ward barbeque. This is the Lord's work and he will have his hands be apart of this to lead everyone to the truth and to come back into the fold.
A lot of people around here are starting school today, i'ts crazy how fast summer goes. If you are starting school good luck and enjoy this new school year! Hope you all have a great day and a great week! Love you all!
